Hello.

Thank you for visiting my blog. And apologies in advance for any content provoking unease and disgust – it quite simply cannot be helped.

This blog was initiated in 2019 when I decided, against better judgement, to ride my bicycle from Spain to Sweden. In just a month and a half. By myself. I was horribly unprepared, decently out of shape, and prone to – as you may guess – acting like a complete and utter idiot. I documented the rollercoaster ride (of emotions) as I made my way through western Europe by bike.

I am a civil engineering graduate from the University of British Columbia in my hometown of Vancouver. I made this trip before moving to London, UK. I currently reside in Hackney.

I love writing, telling stories about my ridiculous experiences, taking photographs (mainly of detritus) and making people chuckle, usually at my own misfortune.

I hope to keep the blog alive – but rather than being an idiot broad travelling abroad, I am now living it!
